Glacier City's highly trained guides not only have many years of guiding experience they are also a wealth of information concerning the local history, animal sightings and tracks. Our guides are continually trained in avalanche awareness, advanced CPR and First Aid and most important of all, showing you an awesome time.

Chris takes great pleasure in showing off these unique glacial valleys to visiting guests. His motto is "Live Life Large", "and that doesn't mean going off of your diet!" While Chris is out breaking new trails or running a tour, Connie makes sure that everything goes smoothly behind the scenes. Often she will spring herself from the Trap and join you on your snowmobile tour!

All the staff at the Tourist Trap will help to make your snowmobile tour reservations and arrange other activities for you while you stay in the Girdwood area. Matt Moscoso

Matt has been guiding snowmobile Tours for 5 seasons, and seems to have a knack for making people happy.

Originally born and raised in Colorado he chose to move to Alaska for his love of the outdoors. He enjoy’s skiing rock climbing, fishing, hunting and of course snowmobiling in the world class Chugach Mountains. In the summertime he helps run a helicopter dogsledding operation high up on a glacier. He helps train over 55 Iditerod champion huskies by running dog-sled tours for visiting guests.

Ryan Belanger

Originally from Maine, Ryan is a seven year veteran Snowmobile guide for Glacier City. He is also an accomplished white water rafting guide for over 14 years. His knowledge, and stories of the Alaskan Backcountry will entertain you making your tour an exceptional and memorable experience.

When he is not guiding for you, you’ll find him snowboarding, telemark skiing, fly fishing, or doing multi-day rafting trips in the Alaskan backcountry.

Ryan is also a master carpenter having built some of the finer homes in Girdwood Valley.
